Bioderma is a NAOS group brand that needs no introduction, and over the past two years, it has had some extremely interesting launches.
The Sensibio line, a standout in facial care for sensitive skin, had already introduced a bi-phase makeup remover that completely won me over (given that I had never found a product in this category that truly worked) and an anti-aging serum for rosacea-prone skin, which became one of Bioderma's best-sellers. Sensibio Micellar Water remains my absolute favorite and the one I use most frequently.
This isn't a brand appreciation post, though it very well could be... Today I'm going to talk about the two oils the brand launched in the last quarter of the year, which are already part of my daily routine.
I'm a fan of and recommend double cleansing (using a makeup remover + cleansing gel), and for me, cleansing oils are an excellent option for removing makeup.
Having combination, acne-prone skin, it's essential that the skincare products I use are non-comedogenic, and it was a pleasant surprise to find that this is one of the key features of Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil. Plus, the oil-to-milk texture turns facial cleansing into an even more enjoyable experience. It removes makeup, including waterproof makeup, while cleansing and soothing the skin. It is effective and well-tolerated, even by the most sensitive skin.
But while my facial skin is oilier, my body skin is getting drier and drier. Complicated, believe me...
Atoderm 2-in-1 Oil made me a bit apprehensive before trying it because, although I love the results of a good body oil, I don't particularly enjoy the greasy residue they leave behind, especially on clothes. Fortunately, the dry-touch effect described by the brand is real, allowing me to enjoy the product's nourishing action "safely." Another Bioderma product I use and recommend!
